Kaysersberg, France

Kaysersberg is a small town in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in northeastern France. It is generally considered to be one of the most impressive of the Alsace towns, particularly in the town’s medieval centre.

The town is in a very picturesque setting, in a valley surrounded by vineyards and with forested hills rising above the town. The first vines were brought here in the 16th century from Hungary making Kaysersberg  one of the finest wine growing areas in Alsace.
